Tips for the season:

  • Give yourself permission to feel all of your feelings including  joy, fear, sadness, pain, and hope.
  • Be patient with yourself and others.
  • Savor simple pleasures like warm baths, naps, and comfort foods.
  • Take time to enjoy a movie, a massage, dinner with friends.
  • Focus on people and activities that bring you joy.
  • Pace yourself.
  • Remember cancer doesn’t define who you are.
