Cancer survivors who finish treatment may struggle with the expectations of family and friends as well as their own challenges to find the new “normal.” Survivorship Support allows cancer survivors to explore common experiences of survivorship and learn ways to cope with the new challenges and emotions that survivorship brings. Back On Track
Back On Track is an series of educational workshops designed for those approaching treatment completion, those already in survivorship, and their caregivers. Call for current session dates/times.
Getting Organized After Treatment
This workshop will assist you in organizing medical records, keeping track of your treatments/tests/medications, knowing how to partner with your primary care physician, understanding your survivor care plan, managing medical bills, and utilizing Five Wishes.
Managing Late Term Treatment Related Side Effects
This presentation will review the common late term side effects from your cancer treatment and how are they treated/alleviated, what you should be on the lookout for, when should you call the doctor, & which medical professionals will play a role in your survivorship care.
The Pressure To Thrive
This workshop will teach you to better balance family, work, & personal obligations, how to effectively set limits/boundaries and reset your expectations for yourself, and how to find and accept your new normal.
