Culinary Comforts

Culinary Comforts is a 4-week class that teaches healthy food preparation and is designed for people living with cancer and their caregivers. Our instructors will prepare and serve the group one entrée, one side dish, and one dessert each class. The health benefits of the ingredients and the preparation of the food are discussed so that recipes can be easily replicated at home. Recipes are based on the publications One Bite at a Time and The Cancer Fighting Kitchen by Rebecca Katz.  Program will be facilitated by Jo Cessna, the Natural Cook. Meets Wednesdays, October 6, 13, 20, 27 from 6-7:30pm.
